The "Mud Kitchen" is a staple of our Early Learning programs at Olympic Nature Experience.

Every classroom has a set of pots, pans, bowls, spoons, measuring cups - all the utensils needed to craft something delicious. Students use whatever ingredients they discover in the forest to fuel their imagination and concoct a dish unique to them and their daily pretend play.

Play and social emotional learning are at the center of our Early Learning programs and the Mud Kitchen fosters both as children work together to "cook" a meal and share it with their peers.
