3 WINTER WALKS

3 WINTER WALKS

Welcome to the first of our new blog series meant to inspire your to ho up and soak up the scenery of the beautiful Olympic Peninsula

Today we’re kicking the winter blues by sharing some of my favorite local trails with easy accessibility in the off season. Some may be considered a walk, some a stroll, some a hike. Either way get outside and explore. Especially while our main ferry, The Coho, often feels like our only outlet is down for Maintenance for 8 weeks this winter and many park trailheads closed or under snow fo the season

  1. First up is the easiest to access yet probably the most underrated by locals and visitors. Just minutes from downtown Po;rt angeles

Edit Hook, or just The Hoo=k, though most locals refer to it simply as The Spit
